E.M. Stanton Elementary

E.M. Stanton Elementary School is a high-performing pre- kindergarten through eighth grade elementary school that is effectively integrated with its community.

Stanton has proven its ability to inspire its students to be creative and academically successful. Over the past decade Stanton has almost always reached the School District’s benchmarks for academic progress and has grown from offering a single visual arts class to having one of the District’s most comprehensive Cultural Arts programs. In eight of the past nine years Stanton has achieved Annual Yearly Progress on standardized tests and has continually increased the number of its graduates that are admitted to “special admission” high schools. Stanton offers its students one of the longest lasting purely volunteer Mentoring Programs of any school in the city.
